Membuat Label Undangan dengan Ms Word 2007 dan Ms. Excel 2007

Mungkin anda sering melihat sebuah label undangan yang berbentuk persegi panjang yang menempel di kertas undangan. Mungkin dalam benak anda sering bertanya-tanya bagaimana ya cara membuatnya? Itu sangat gampang kok, ikutin aja langkah-langkah berikut ini. Tapi di sini saya membuat data undangannya dari Ms. Excel karenan lebih sederhana.

Langkah 1

1. Buka Program Ms. Excel

2. Setelah itu, anda tulis dulu ya… nama-nama yang ingin di undang, seperti di bawah ini:

3. Setelah itu jangan lupa di simpan, dengan nama file “Data Undangan”

4. Setelah itu program Ms. Excel nya close.

Langkah 2

Kita akan membuat master label, misalkan kita akan membuat master label dengan jenis Label 103, langkah yang harus dilakukan adalah :

1. Buka program Ms. Word, seperti di bawah ini

2. Klik menu Mailings – Label,

3. Klik Options.

4. Klik New Label.

• Label Name isilah sesuai dengan keinginan anda
• Top Margin diukur dari tepi kertas atas sampai ke tepi Label paling atas
• Side Margin dari tepi kertas sebelah kiri sampai ke tepi label paling kiri
• Vertical Pitch dihitung dari tepi atas label baris pertama sampai ke tepi atas label baris kedua
• Horizontal Pitch dihitung dari tepi kiri label kolom pertama sampai ke tepi kiri label kolom kedua
• Label height, tinggi label dihitung dari tepi atas label sampai tepi bawah label. Untuk lebih mudahnya tinggi label ini biasanya tertera di bungkus label yang anda beli,
• Label Width, lebar label dihitung dari tepi kiri label sampai tepi kanan label.
• Number across, diisi dengan banyaknya label dalam satu baris
• Number down, banyaknya label dalam satu kolom
• Page Size, sebaiknya anda pilih ukuran Custom (Catatan: diingat ukuran Page Size harus sama dengan Page pada pada Properties Printer Anda, karena jika tidak sama maka hasil Print tidak akan pas)
• Page Width, lebar ukuran kertas label
• Page Height, tinggi ukuran kertas label

5. Setelah semua terisi dengan benar, kemudian klik OK

6. Klik Ok

7. Klik New Document, maka Ms. Word akan membuka lembar baru seprti di bawah ini

8. Setelah itu Save, (simpan dalam satu folder dengan data Ms. Excel yang telah kita buat tadi)

Langkah 3

1. Klik Menu Mailling dan Klik Select Recipients dan Pilih Use Existing List.

2. Buka File Excel (misalnya : Data Undangan) yang anda buat tadi – Klik Open

3. Maka tampil kotak dialog “Select Table”, karena kita tadi menulis nama undangan di Sheet 1, klik Sheet 1$ – Ok

4. Selanjutnya kita memasukan filed ke dalam table yang kita buat dengan cara kita klik Insert Merge Field - Kemudian klik Filed satu persatu sesuai dengan posisi yang diinginkan.

5. Setelah masuk semua maka hasilnya seperti dibawah ini:

6. Hal yang paling penting yang harus dilakukan adalah kita meletakan Next Record didepan filed nama selain di filed nama pada kolom pertama baris pertama. Klik Maillings – Rules – Next Record

Sehingga seperti gambar berikut :

7. Untuk melihat hasil penggabungan data tadi dengan cara mengklik Ikon

Dan lihat hasilnya seperti ini :

8. Untuk mengePrintnya…. Klik Finish & Merge – Print Document…

• All, jika kita ingin mengeprint semua
• Current Record, jika kita hanya ingin mengeprint yang di tampilkan di record
• Form..to…, jika kita ingin mengeprint dari record ke record berapa.

9. Klik Ok

· Catatan: jangan lupa ya… ukuran Page Size harus sama dengan Page pada pada Properties Printer Anda, karena jika tidak sama maka hasil Print tidak akan pas.

Menangani hard disk memang gampang-gampang susah. Meski Anda sudah merawatnya dengan baik,
sewaktu-waktu media simpan ini bisa saja membandel. Beberapa kerewelan yang umum kami paparkan di halaman ini.
Kami juga menyediakan petunjuk untuk mengatasinya.
Saran kami, carilah seorang pendamping yang lebih ahli sebelum mempraktikkannya.

Tak Terdeteksi
Bila Anda sering membongkar-pasang hard disk, masalah yang sering muncul antara lain hard disk yang tak kunjung terdeteksi.
Gejala dan penyebabnya bisa beraneka rupa, namun umumnya sih disebabkan oleh pemasangan kabel yang tidak benar
atau penyetelan CMOS yang keliru.
Inilah beberapa masalah yang mungkin Anda temui:



Disk Boot Failure
Pesan Disk Boot Failure biasanya muncul pada saat proses booting bila boot disk Anda tidak ketemu. Jangan buru-buru menyalahkan hard disk Anda.

Solusi 1:
Secara umum, pesan tersebut berarti proses boot tidak bisa mendeteksi disk yang menyimpan sistem operasi.
Hard disk bukanlah satu-satunya boot disk. CD-ROM dan disket pun bisa Anda jadikan boot disk. Masalahnya,
sudahkah Anda memberi tahu PC mengenai boot disk yang Anda pakai?

Ceklah lokasi boot disk pada jendela CMOS di dalam BIOS Setup.
Biasanya ada empat urutan boot disk dalam jendela itu, yakni floppy drive (disket), hard drive (hard disk), CD-ROM dan lainnya,
termasuk peranti SCSI dan jaringan.

Yang harus Anda ingat, disk yang dipakai untuk booting mesti memiliki file standar yang digunakan untuk proses booting.
Disket atau CD non-bootable yang dipindai sebagai boot disk akan memunculkan pesan error ini.

Solusi 2:
Kemungkinan lainnya barangkali masalah sepele, yakni kabel power atau kabel IDE pada hard disk tidak terpasang dengan benar atau rusak.
Cara mengatasinya mudah. Cek kabel-kabel yang menghubungkan hard disk atau boot disk lain dengan mainboard.
Pastikan semua kabel tersebut dalam kondisi prima dan terpasang dengan benar.

Hard Disk Fail
Arti pesan ini adalah hard disk Anda tak bisa dikenali oleh PC.

Solusi 1:
Penyebabnya bisa karena pemasangan kabel pada hard disk yang tak sempurna atau pun kabel yang rusak. Solusinya, lihat pembahasan sebelumnya.

Solusi 2:
Mungkin Anda salah mengeset CMOS atau ada kerusakan lainnya.
Bila Anda menggunakan prosesor Intel Pentium atau lebih tinggi, aturlah pendeteksian hard disk dalam CMOS pada posisi [Auto].
 Kerusakan lain yang mungkin menjadi penyebabnya misalnya kerusakan pada slot mainboard.

Fixed Disk Failure
Gejalanya mirip dengan disk boot failure. Pesan yang mungkin muncul antara lain fixed disk 0 failure,
fixed disk 1 failure, fixed disk C failure, atau fixed disk D failure.

Solusi 1:
Hal ini biasa terjadi bila Anda lupa mengeset jumper saat menggunakan lebih dari satu hard disk.
Kesalahan penyetelan hard disk pada CMOS juga bisa memunculkan pesan tersebut.

Solusi 2:
Tidak terdeteksinya partisi hard disk dapat memunculkan pesan serupa.
Terutama bila hal ini terjadi usai memartisi hard disk.
Pemformatan hard disk yang tak sempurna dapat mengakibatkan partisi tak dikenali secara sempurna.

Cobalah cek hard disk Anda dengan menjalan perintah FDISK dalam mode DOS. J
ika hard disk Anda terdeteksi tapi partisinya tidak dikenali, Anda mesti mengulang proses pembuatan partisi.

Invalid/Non System Disk
Pesan ini menandakan bahwa boot disk Anda tidak memiliki files yang dibutuhkan untuk booting.
Penyebabnya juga bukan hanya hard disk saja, tapi juga bisa berarti disket atau CD-ROM yang Anda pakai sebagai boot disk.

Solusi 1:
Jika Anda mem-booting PC lewat disket atau CD-ROM,
gunakan bootable disk yang memuat file sistem yang sama dengan versi Windows milik Anda.
Cara membuatnya gampang, kok. Kami pernah membahas cara membuat bootable disk pada edisi 86 (11–24 Agustus 2004) halaman 48.

Solusi 2:
Jika Anda mem-booting PC lewat hard disk,
pesan tersebut akan muncul karena adanya kerusakan file command.com atau file lain yang biasa dipakai saat booting.
Cobalah salin file yang sama dari komputer teman yang memiliki sistem operasi sama dengan PC Anda.

Jika cara di atas tak menyelesaikan masalah, cobalah mem-booting PC lewat disket bootable.
Saat muncul command prompt A:\>, ketik FDISK, lalu tekan [Enter]. Kalau ada pesan "no fixed disk present",
besar kemungkinan hard disk Anda rusak atau tak terhubung dengan benar.

Namun bila perintah FDISK berjalan benar, pilih opsi nomor 4 untuk menampilkan partisi,
dan lanjutkan dengan memilih opsi nomor 5. Kalau partisi Anda tak terbaca, Anda mesti membuat partisi baru (lihat halaman 14-15).

Bila partisi dalam hard disk terbaca, pencet [Esc] hingga kembali ke prompt A:\>.
Pastikan disket Anda berisi file sys.com. Caranya, ketik dir, lalu tekan [Enter]. Ketik sys c:\ diikuti dengan menekan [Enter]
untuk menyalin file tersebut ke hard disk.
Biasanya pesan bertuliskan "system transferred" muncul menandakan proses penyalinan sukses.
 Restart PC Anda dengan menekan kombinasi kunci [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del].

Kapasitas Terbatas
Hard disk baru yang dijual di pasar kini berkapasitas besar.
Rata-rata 40 GB ke atas. Namun, adakalanya kapasitas hard disk ini hanya terbaca sekian GB saja.
 Tenang, hard disk Anda tidak bermasalah, kok.

Solusi 1:
Dulu, Windows 95 hanya bisa mendeteksi hard disk berkapasitas maksimum 2 GB saja.
Jika menggunakan Windows NT 3.5 dan 4.0, hard disk berkapasitas lebih dari 8 atau 8,4 GB tak bisa terdeteksi maksimal.
Untuk itu, upgrade-lah Windows Anda, dan hard disk pun akan terbaca sesuai kapasitas sebenarnya.

Solusi 2:
Penyebab lainnya adalah nonaktifnya fitur LBA (Large Block Addressing) pada CMOS.
Jika ini memang biangnya, biasanya hard disk Anda cuma dikenali 504/540 MB saja.
Maka, aturlah setelan LBA pada CMOS ke posisi enable.

Solusi 3:
Hard disk Anda bisa saja berkapasitas minim akibat BIOS Anda tidak mendukung hard disk gendut.
Biasanya, Award BIOS versi 4.5x hanya bisa mengenali hard disk tak lebih dari 33,8 GB.
Atasi hal ini dengan meng-upgrade BIOS. Situs pembuatnya biasanya selalu menyediakan patch terbaru yang bisa Anda ambil.

Problem Format Hard Disk
Tak semua hard disk lancar diformat.
Bisa jadi, saat Anda memformatnya, muncul pesan "insufficient memory error when formatting hard drive".
Artinya, PC Anda tak punya cukup ruang untuk membuat cadangan data pada hard disk.

Solusi 1:
Biasanya ini disebabkan oleh terlalu penuhnya hard disk, sehingga PC tak bisa menempatkan system file dan mem-backup data.
Atasi hal ini dengan menerapkan unconditional format.
 Jalankan PC pada mode MS-DOS prompt. Ketik format c: /u pada layar DOS, lantas tekan [Enter].
 Ikuti perintah selanjutnya. Cara ini dipakai untuk menulisi hard disk dengan data kosong (zero fill).

Solusi 2:
Master boot record (MBR) yang corrupt juga jadi salah satu penyebabnya.
MBR adalah sektor terdepan (first sector) dalam hard disk yang dipakai untuk mengidentifikasi dan booting sistem operasi.

Untuk menanganinya, cobalah restart PC Anda dan masuk ke mode MS-DOS.
Ketikkan fdisk /mbr, lalu tekan [Enter]. Ikuti petunjuk di dalamnya. Jika sudah, lakukan unconditional format seperti pada Solusi 1.

Solusi 3:
Penyebab lainnya adalah hilang atau corrupt-nya salah satu partisi.
Secara teknis, permasalahannya sama dengan kerusakan MBR di atas.
Penyembuhannya bisa Anda lakukan dengan menerapkan unconditional format.

Komputer Lamban
Komputer yang kian lelet terjadi bukan hanya karena spesifikasi PC kurang memadai, namun bisa juga karena masalah pada hard disk Anda.

Solusi 1:
Hard disk yang terlalu penuh, termasuk karena tumpukan data sampah bekas proses penginstalan yang tak sempurna dan data corrupt,
 merupakan biang kelambatan tersebut. Sediakanlah ruang yang cukup untuk menyimpan temporary file.
Standarnya, jika hard disk Anda berkapasitas 2 GB atau lebih kecil, sediakanlah ruang kosong minimal 200 MB.
Jika hard disk Anda berkapasitas lebih dari itu, kosongkan ruang minimal 500 MB.

Solusi 2:
Rajin-rajinlah menjalankan scandisk dan men-defrag hard disk.
Matikan pula program-program yang sedang berjalan pada systray terutama yang sudah di-load sejak booting.

Bad Sectors, Bad Cluster atau Missing Allocation
Penyebab masalah ini amat beragam, misalnya akibat penginstalan software yang tidak sempurna atau karena kerusakan fisik hard disk.

Solusi 1:
Kenali dulu jenis bad sector dalam hard disk.
Cobalah memindai hard disk dengan program ScanDisk (Windows 9x) atau CheckDisk (Windows XP).
Aktifkan fitur surface scan pada saat pemindaian. Cara ini cukup manjur untuk menyikat bad sector bertaraf rendah (pre bad sector).

Solusi 2:
Jika cara pertama tak mempan, biasanya masih ada bad sector pertanda data Anda corrupt.
Sebaiknya, backup dulu semua data. Kemudian, formatlah hard disk (lihat halaman 14-15).
 Jika di tengah jalan muncul pesan "error bad sector" atau "missing allocation", berarti hard disk Anda memang rusak.
 Selama hard disk masih bisa dipakai, karantinalah bad sector tersebut, sambil menyiapkan dana untuk membeli yang baru.

ERROR!


“STOP: 0xc000026C [Unable to load device driver] DriverName”
atau
“STOP: 0xc0000221 [Unable to load device driver] DriverName”
atau
“STOP: 0xc0000221. Bad image check sum, the image user32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header check sum does not match the computed check sum. “

SOLUSI:
Pengguna Windows XP mungkin pernah menemui salah satu dari pesan error di atas. Biasanya muncul akibat rusak atau hilangnya sebuah file berformat sys
yang merupakan salah satu komponen driver sebuah hardware. Bisa juga diakibatkan oleh kerusakan file User32.dll.
Bila yang menjadi penyebab adalah rusaknya file driver, maka solusinya sebagai berikut:

1. Masukkan installer Windows XP ke dalam CD-ROM drive, lalu restart PC. Pastikan BIOS sudah mengeset CD-ROM drive sebagai peranti booting pertama.
2. Setelah muncul layar Welcome to Setup, tekan [R] untuk menjalankan fitur [Recovery Console].
3. Bila PC Anda menggunakan multiple booting, pilihlah instalasi Windows XP yang akan Anda perbaiki.
4. Masukkan password administrator, lalu tekan [Enter].
5. Pada command prompt, ketik cd windows\system32\drivers, lalu tekan [Enter].
6. Ubah nama driver yang rusak, dari format sys ke bak. Caranya, ketik ren namadriver.sys namadrive.bak.
7. Salin driver asli dari CD Windows XP ke folder driver. Ketik saja copy cd-rom:\i386 namadriver, lalu tekan [Enter].
8. Ketik exit, lantas [Enter]. Restart PC.
Bila yang hilang atau rusak adalah file User32.dll, solusinya sebagai berikut:
1. Ikuti Langkah 1 sampai 4 dari panduan di atas.
2. Pada command prompt, ketik cd windows\system32, lalu [Enter].
3. Ubah nama file User32.dll dengan mengetikkan ren user32.dll user32.bak, lalu tekan [Enter].
4. Salin file User32.dll original dari installer Windows XP ke hard disk. Ketik expand cd-rom:\i386\user32.dl_ c:\windows\system32, lalu tekan [Enter].
5. Ketik exit, lalu [Enter] dan restart PC.
